The Ohaneze Mdigbo social cultural group and Afenifere of the West has refused to accept the activities of herdsmen (Miyetti Allah) into their lands. Nnamdi Kanu has also refused to be quite over the order from the presidency to Ohaneze Ndigbo and Afenifere, telling them to respect the Miyetti Allah. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu while reacting to the admonition of the presidency to the Easterners and Westerners to respect Miyetti Allah, said that it is a pure proof that they don't have any country anymore to receive such order from the presidency. Sweetmusuc Abductors of 25 youths from Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State have demanded the sum of N52 million ransom as a condition for the release of the victims.

Sweetmusuc   One of the family members of the victims told   Daily Trust   in a telephone interview Friday morning that the kidnappers have established communication with them and demanding for N2 million ransom for each of the 25 persons. He said they have reliable information that the abducted youths and their driver were moved into a forest situated between Takum local government in Taraba and Katsina-Ala In Benue States by the kidnappers. The Police Public Relations Officer of the Taraba Police Command, DSP David Misal, confirmed that the kidnappers have established communication with the relations of the victims. He appealed to the youths of Takum to be patience, promising that the police were making concerted efforts to secure the release of the kidnappe d victims.

Sweetmusuc   The Indigenous People Of Biafra   (IPOB) security outfit, Eastern Security Network, ESN, recently launched by   Nnamdi Kanu has warned a company in Orlu axis harboring fleeing men of the Nigerian army after a gun duel on Monday. The ESN expressed anger that despite troubles unleashed on the Eastern Security Network, a firm identified as ‘Charlse Aluminum Company provided shelter for the soldiers. The Aluminum company had released a clip cautioning the general public particularly motorists against using the road in the heat of a fierce clash between ESN and Nigerian troops. The management confirmed that two men of the military attached to a team with white patrol were spotted lifeless while displaying a fleeing soldier escaped from the bashed Van towards the company. was gathered that ESN allegedly issued a stringent warning to the company to release the soldiers or face consequences. This was announced today by the Spokesman to the President Femi Adesina today. The new service chiefs are Leo Irabor, a major-general of the Nigerian army, chief of defence staff; I Attahiru, chief of army staff; A Z Gambo, chief of naval staff; and I O Alao, chief of air staff.Major General Attahiru Ibrahim was the theater commander of Lafiya Dole in the troubled North East in 2017 and before his appointment, he was the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army.The outgoing service chiefs are the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar. Many Nigerians have expressed their pleasure at the appointment of the new Service Chiefs. Popular critic of the President Reno Omokri even commended him on the appointment of tht new appointments.

Sweetmusuc Nigeria governor forum takes new decision on evicting Fulani herdsmen from South west The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has said that there was no eviction order to herdsmen in Ondo State or any part of the South West region.It said the speech of Ondo Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, was misconstrued in the media and was only directed at government reserve including registration. Chairman of NGF and Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, spoke in Akure at a meeting with the national leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN).Dr. Fayemi noted that the statement generated a lot of hoopla which led to what he described as unfortunate development in Oyo State. He said Akeredolu didn’t talk about herdsmen vacating the state but about registration of herdsmen who want to operate within the reserves. The Ekiti Governor said they are after criminals and not fulani herdsmen.
